    Job Description

    A. PURPOSE OF JOB The main purpose of the Education Consultant position is to be responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, following up on potential leads, issuing formal quotations and closing sales. B. JOB DUTIES

  • Choreographer Austin, TX

    DrumFIT is looking for some additional choreographers for our monthly cardio-drumming video curriculum! Are you enthusiastic and creative? Do you enjoy a healthy, active lifestyle and have an interest in teaching the next generation how to stay active? We are looking for several candidates to join our choreo team. This is a contract position and would work well as a secondary job for extra income. Additional opportunities for presentations and field work may also available. A. JOB DESCRIPTION The main purpose of the Contract Choreographer is to create and film DrumFIT fitness routines. This position reports directly to the Program Director. Must be available to film in Austin,TX 1-2 days per month, otherwise work can be done remotely. We are looking for multiple candidates for this position. B. JOB DUTIES Development and delivery of monthly cardio-drumming routines in different age-appropriate formats
    • Monthly delivery of 16-20 routines for video curriculum:
    • Choose 4-5 new songs
    • Choreograph or Reuse/Adapt existing choreography to new song
    • Develop an age appropriate version for each song (K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12)
    • One day filming in Austin, TX per month
    • Previous Choreographing experience
    • Previous Dance or Fitness background is preferred
    • Experience in the Education sector is a plus
    • Must have own transportation.

  • Experienced Grant Writer

    DrumFIT is looking for an experienced Grant Writer, with a minimum of 3 years experience writing grants in the education industry. Must be able to create award-winning grant applications and provide guidance to applicants in the development of their program design, budget and partnerships. As Grant Writer you are responsible for developing winning grant proposals submitted to foundations in the private and corporate sectors as well as to city, state and federal sources of funding. Experience working with schools, school districts, education foundations and health care corporations is preferred. Compensated on a per-project basis, based upon narrative length, with an additional bonus if awarded. Candidate must be a self-starter, excellent at time management and client communication, and capable of managing a large workload under tight deadlines. This is a contract position with potential to turn permanent full-time. Although the following list is not intended to be all inclusive, the applicant is expected to provide the scope of services listed below:   RESPONSIBILITIES: Major Responsibilities and Duties
    • Identify viable grant sources by networking with other professionals and searching through grant literature.
    • Assist in informing interested departments of grant sources.
    • Design grant proposals working with program directors, coordinators, and school personnel.
    • Assist in the development of timetables, meetings, input, and deadlines to expedite timely grant submission.

  • Customer Service/Sales Support Representative Austin, TX

    A. PURPOSE OF JOB This is an entry level position, ideal for a recent college graduate or someone new to or re-entering the job market. Plenty of opportunities for advancement into different departments. The Customer Service/Sales Support will provide exceptional ongoing customer service, including general order processing, pricing and quotes, recommending solutions from a range of products and providing technical support for all DrumFIT existing customers. This position is fast paced and requires a team focused, energetic individual who can work as part of a cross functional team, facilitating efficient and effective handling of inquiries while delivering a great customer experience for both our internal and external customers. B. JOB DUTIES
    • Primary touch point for all DrumFIT clients by telephone, e-mail, or face-to-face to provide information about products, take or enter orders, cancel orders, or obtain details of customer complaints. Develops strong business relationships with both new and existing customers.
    • Submits orders by utilizing price lists and product literature. Provides quotes/estimates for customers; convey product features and benefits; provides sales terms and deliver schedule; and supports the Sales team to finalize deals.
    • Communicate with warehouse to ship orders and track timely delivery.
    • Inventory tracking and reordering
    • Provides technical support to customers, i.e., how to login or reset passwords, how to access videos or build a playlist.
    • Provide training and onboarding via video-conferencing or in-person for local clients.
    • Make every effort to resolve customer issues through problem-solving skills and escalate unresolved complaints to designated department.
    • Keeps records of customer interactions/transactions; track order in CRM to ensure timely delivery; and prepare RFP (Request for Proposals) for school districts

  • Part-Time Children’s Fitness Instructor – Toronto, Canada

    DrumFIT is looking for a Part-Time Children’s Fitness Instructor to lead our full day school program in the Greater Toronto Area. The workshops fuse drumming and cardio to provide a fun and engaging high intensity fitness class. Students learn drumming movement; build strength and endurance while teaching them to love cardio. The ideal candidate has:
    • Background in fitness industry or teaching dance classes
    • Experience working with children an asset. (sports coach, camp counsellor, preschool teacher, daycare, or similar experience)
    • Ability to motivate participants and deliver a high energy, fun filled fitness program
    • Must be able to lift 60lbs
    • Having a reliable vehicle (with lots of trunk space for equipment) to travel to various schools is a necessity
    • Excellent punctuality, organizational skills and work ethic
    • Must be able to pass a criminal record check and vulnerable sector check
    This part-time instructor will lead classes in various schools; community centres and child care centres throughout the GTA. Position starts September 2017 and is based on instructor availability. This is the perfect position to work around your other part-time fitness positions as you give US your availability!
