Funding Healthy Programs In Your School With Fuel Up To Play 60

Are you an educator looking to incorporate physical education programs and nutritional resources in your school, but don’t have the resources? Have you been wondering how you can get funding to bring DrumFIT to your P.E. classroom this school year? If you haven’t enrolled in Fuel Up To Play 60, now is a great time to check out their playbook for new funding opportunities for healthy programs in your school! The next application deadline for Fuel Up To Play 60 funding is Wednesday, November 7, 2018, so here’s what you need to know before submitting your application.

“Fuel Up to Play 60 is an in-school health & wellness program launched by National Dairy Council and NFL, in collaboration with USDA empowering youth to make sustainable changes in the areas of nutrition and physical activity within their schools and communities. The key to Fuel Up to Play 60’s success is having a strong student foundation, a team of committed educators and community engagement.”

You can participate in the program as a Student, Parent, or Educator. To qualify for funding, you must enroll in Fuel Up To Play 60 as an educator, have a registered program advisor, and participate in the National School Lunch Program. Each year, enrolled Educators from qualified k-12 schools have the opportunity to apply for up to $4000 in funding to jumpstart health challenges.
