A Life of Endurance – Ruck Marching and Ultramarathons

Welcome to Episode 5 of the DrumFIT® Podcast! Today is Part 2 of a 2 part conversation with Bruce Barteaux. Bruce served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 42 years as a Mechanical Engineer and has an incredible track record (pardon the pun) in endurance sports, including two 100km world Championships, participation in multiple Ultramarathons with a personal 24 hour best of 207km, and much, much more.

Today, in part 2, Bruce talks about his life-long involvement in endurance sports, his participation in marathons, ultra-marathons and ruck-marching around the world, how he mentally and physically prepares for such strenuous events, and the important aspects of being a team player as well as a leader and role model.
